The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition, seeking to direct the respondents to pay the subsistence allowance for the period from 17.12.1990 to 26.06.1992 and from 16.12.1999 to 07.02.2005 within the time stipulated by this Honourable court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the relief sought for by the petitioner has already been granted by the respondents and therefore, this petition may be closed as infructuous. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the petitioner has subsequently been convicted and removed from service.

4. In view of the above submissions, I am of the view that nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed as having been rendered infructuous. No costs.
