Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the patta issued in Patta Nos.12095, 15583, 15584 and 15585 in favour of respondent Nos.3 to 6 on the file of the second respondent herein and quash the same as illegal and further direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to include the name of the petitioner in Patta No.12095 on the file of the second respondent herein for the land in Survey No.335/5A of Neendakarai (B) Village, Agastheeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District. *********** This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the issuance of patta in favour of the respondents 3 to 6.

2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner at the outset would submit that the petitioner has already filed a statutory appeal which is pending on the file of the first respondent, aggrieved by the issuance of patta in favour of the respondents 3 to 6. W.P.[MD]No.7567 of 2022 submit that the petitioner is satisfied if a direction is given to the first respondent to dispose of the statutory appeal within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. The said statement is recorded.

3.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal in Na.Ka.A5/1890/2022, within a period of six [6] months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner, the respondents 3 to 6 and any other necessary party, whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire. 4.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
