ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by J. NISHA BANU, J.) The petitioner has filed the writ petition for a direction forbearing the respondents from permitting any person to conduct Mandagapadi beyond 11th day which is against the custom of the Arulmigu Vettudayar Kaliamman Thirukovil Ariyakuruchi, Kalayarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent would submit that now the festival is over and the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. 3.At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty to challenge the same in the next year. 2/4

4.In view of the abovesaid submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the same in the next year, if he is so advised. There shall be no order as to costs.
