Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2018 and consequently to issue legal heir certificate to the petitioner within a time fixed by this Court. ORDER

Heard Mr.C.M.Ganesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 20.04.2018 to the third respondent for issuing legal heir certificate to the petitioner, but so far, no order has been passed on the representation of the petitioner. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that if the said representation is still pending, the same shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the parties concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to submit one more copy of the said representation along with the copy of this order to the third respondent.

6.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
