Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent 1 and 2 to survey, measure and fix the four boundaries in respect of petitioner's above said survey properties i.e. Survey Nos.63/15 A, S.No.63/2 and 63/15 B situated at Mavudakurichi Village, Peravurani Taluk, Thanjavur District on the basis of his application dated 24.1.2020 within the time stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 24.01.2020 wherein the petitioner has sought for the survey of the property and for fixing of the boundaries.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the subject property and Patta has also been issued in his favour in Patta bearing No.1588. The petitioner made an application on 24.01.2020 seeking for the survey of the property and for fixing of the boundaries. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3. Heard Mr.R.Venkateshwar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Muniasamy, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 24.01.2020 on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision with regard to the survey of the property within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondents alongwith all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
