O R D E R

Pursuant to the death of Selvam, who was taking bath in a river, on the complaint of his father, the petitioner herrein, the respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.244 of 2017 on 16.04.2017 under Section 174 Cr.P.C. Not satisfied with the progress of investigation, the petitioner has filed the present petition for transfer of investigation.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Today, Mr.R.Karuppiah, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Chinnamanur Police Station, is present before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submitted that the investigation in Crime No.244/2017 was completed and closure report has been filed before the Tahsildar, Uthammapalayam.

5. Under such circumstances, the Tahsildar, Uthammapalayam, is directed to take photo copies of all the records submitted by the police and send the original records to the Judicial Magistrate, Uthammapalayam within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Liberty is given to the petitioner to file a protest application before the Judicial Magistrate, Uthammapalayam, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. A copy of the closure report has also been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner across the Bar.

6. With the above observation and direction, this petition is closed.
