ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offence punishable under Section 379 of IPC in Crime No.219 of 2022 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner said to have committed theft of idol of Mutharamman (kali Statue)weighing about 15kgs. Hence, the complaint.

3. Heard both side and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report. It is reported that five similar previous cases are pending against the petitioner.

4. It is seen that the petitioner herein has committed theft of bronze idol . Though the petitioner herein is arrayed as A4 in this case other accused were arrested and the stolen idol has been recovered. Further taking into consideration the previous bad antecedants of the petitioner, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
