PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur to dispose of the case in CC No. 9 of 2016 on his file as expeditiously as possible For Petitioner : Mr.A.Atam Ali For Respondent : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi Additional Public Prosecutor
ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur to dispose of the case in CC No. 9 of 2016 on his file as expeditiously as possible.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending trial without any progress.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the some of the witnesses have been examined in this case.
4. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur to dispose the case pending in CC No. 9 of 2016 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings. Further the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court on hall hearing dates without fail and co-operate for trial.
5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
