ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition to direct the second respondent to disburse the statutory pay arrears through the third respondent on representation of the petitioner dated 04.06.2015 as per proceedings No.S2(2)/25862/2014 dated 28.08.2014 by the Engineer in Chief WRD and Chief Engineer (G) Public Works Department, Chennai-5, issued to the first respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, it would be suffice, if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of on merits and in accordance with law.

3. The learned Govt.Advocate for the respondents, would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.06.2015, in tune with the proceedings No.S2(2)/25862/2014 dated 28.08.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties, if any, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
