O R D E R

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant Police protection and permission to conduct Aadal Paadal cultural Programme in Sirugudi Village, Sri Manthai Muthalamman Thiru Kovil at Natham Taluk, Dindigul District on 28.03.2023 between 6.00 p.m., to 10.00 p.m., by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2023.

2. Mr.R.Sureshkumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submitted that festival for the temple, by name, "Sri Manthai Muthalamman Thiru Kovil at Natham Taluk, Dindigul District, is going to be held on 28.03.2023. Subsequent to the same, in order to conduct a cultural programme on 28.03.2023, they sought permission of the Police by giving a representation dated 17.03.2023. But, the second respondent has not considered the said representation. Since no order was passed, the writ petitioner has come before this Court for the above said relief. 2/4

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner is died on 10.12.2019 itself. Only the petitioner's son is available in the village and he has filed the Writ Petition by forging his father's signature.

5. Since the Writ Petition has been filed in the name of dead person by forging his signature, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
