It is seen that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.66/2017 was registered on 22.04.2017 under Sections 341, 447 and 379 IPC against one Suppammal and Vasuki. While so, it is the case of the petitioner that the said Suppammal and Vasuki are continuing to harass the petitioner and therefore, the petitioner had given a complaint dated 19.05.2017 seeking police protection and has filed the present petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.Today, Mr.R.Rajendran, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Meemisal Police Station, is present before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) for the respondents 1 and 2.

4. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the case in Crime No.66/2017 has been closed. If that is so, the petitioner will be entitled to the closure report, so that he can file a protest application before the jurisdictional Magistrate. If there is any physical violence or threat to the petitioner and commission of cognizable offence, the police shall take appropriate action on the complaint given by the petitioner.
