Heard Mr.R.Udhayakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.VR.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final hearing.

3.The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to conduct the annual temple festival of "Sree Mari Amman" Temple at Vairampatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District, on 10.06.2018 to 12.06.2018.

Considering the limited scope of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the claim made by the petitioner, I direct the first and the third respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.05.2018 and pass orders on merit and in accordance with law, on or before 03.06.2018.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
