This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.159 of 2023, pending on the file of the first respondent. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submitted that the parties have amicably settled their issue. Hence he prays to quash the FIR. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the petitioner and other accused had stolen three goats of worth Rs.21,000/-.

4.Though the parties have settled their issue, considering that the offence is against the society, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. 12.04.2024 NCC : Yes/No Internet:Yes/No Index:Yes/No jbr 2/4
