Respondent Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records from the respondent relating to his impugned order, dated 26.6.14 passed in SE.Mu.Aa.No.17528/E1/2014, quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to return the driving license of the petitioner bearing D.L.NO.TN05819970002612 to him without any remarks and award cost.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 26.06.2014 passed by the respondent and consequently direct the respondents to return the driving license of the petitioner bearing D.L.NO.TN05819970002612 to him.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate for the respondent.

3.The respondent has passed an order dated 20.03.2014 suspending the driving license of the petitioner for a period of three months from 26.06.2014 to 25.09.2014.

4.Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate for the respondent would submit that because of the interim order passed by this Court even before expiry of the license period, it has been returned to the petitioner and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

5.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, the Writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneousness Petition is also closed.
