ORDER

It is the case of the petitioner that she is working as Headmistress in Eka Ratchakar Sabai Middle School, Thoothukudi, and that on the complaint given by her an F.I.R. was registered in Crime No.179 of 2015 on 06.08.2015 and after completing the investigation, the police have filed the charge sheet in C.C.No.327 of 2015 before the Judicial Magistrate, Sathankulam against three persons for offences under Sections 294(b), 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Woman Harassment Act, 2002.

2. It is the contention of the petitioner that she was coerced by the Correspondent of the school and respondents 4 and 5 to withdraw the case in C.C.No.327 of 2015. In this regard the petitioner has given representation, dated 15.05.2017, which is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pending enquiry by the second respondent.

3. The petitioner is directed to appear in person before the second respondent and the second respondent shall conduct thorough enquiry and if warranted sufficient police protection be provided to the petitioner, so that no harm befalls her during enquiry. If it is found that the petitioner has given a false complaint on account of any disciplinary proceedings against her, the respondent police need not take any action.

4. The criminal original petition is closed with the above direction.
