This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to register a case on the basis of the direction issued by the learned Judicial Magistrate (Special Court for Land Grabbing), Tirunelveli under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. in Crl.M.P.No.768 of 2016 vide order dated 05.11.2016.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the order dated 05.11.2016 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate (Special Court for Land Grabbing), Tirunelveli under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. in Crl.M.P.No.768 of 2016, a case has already been registered in Crime No.19 of 2017, for the offence punishable under Sections 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) IPC on the file of the respondent police. 3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
