Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to ensure the petitioner and her family members do not suffer excommunication within her own community at Devimangalam, Mannachanallur Taluk, Trichy District and to take action against the respondents 6 to 9 and gave adequate Police Protection to the petitioner and her family and permit them to participate in the Karthigai Festival at Mariamman Temple, 1/3

Devimangalam, Mannachanallur Taluk, Trichy District after receiving the fund (tax) from them by the temple authorities, by consider the petitioner's representation dated on 08.04.2021, within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the official respondents to consider the representation dated 08.04.2021.

2.According to the learned Public Prosecutor, there is no question of excommunicating the petitioner from the community. The dispute arose only with regard to the collection of money for performing the karthigai festival in the Mariyamman temple, Devi Mangalam, Trichy District.

3.According to the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), representation made by the petitioner will be considered as per the law.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned public prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the official respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner and pass orders on merits within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
