O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, Kottampatti Police Station, Madurai District, not to harass the petitioner under the garb of holding up an enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police frequently called the petitioner and harassed him under the guise of enquiry.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions, would submit that petition enquiry has been conducted and subsequently the same has been closed and the petitioner's appearance is not at all required by the respondent Police. Hence, there is no scope of harassment as alleged by the petitioner. He also produced a xerox copy of the letter submitted by the defacto complainant, whereby it is stated that she will settle the dispute before the appropriate forum in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
