(Order of the Court was made by J. NISHA BANU, J.) By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.The prayer made in this Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent herein to grant permission to the petitioner for conducting the "Vadamadu Manjuvirattu" event on 11.05.2025 as part of the Sri Manthaiyamman Temple festival at V.Kalpulichanpatti, Vikkiramangalam Post, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District by including the petitioner's village of V.Kalpulichanpatti, Vikkiramangalam Post, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District in the Madurai District Gazette based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.03.2025.

2.The petitioner had given a representation to the respondents on 06.03.2025, in this regard. Since the said representation was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, 4 and 6 and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the fourth respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be disposed of by the respondents in accordance with law within a time frame. 3/6

4.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.03.2025 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
