When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the fourth respondent submitted that the process of selection

for appointment to the post of ITI Helper (Trainee) had been concluded during the year 2014 and the selected candidates were appointed and they are working as ITI Helper (Trainee) for the past more than five years.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submitted that the process of selection for appointment to the post of ITI Helper (Trainee) was not conducted transparently and the established principles for selection were not scrupulously followed by the respondents.

3. This Court cannot adjudicate these broad grounds at this length of time, in view of the fact that the selected candidates were appointed during the year 2014 and they are working as ITI Helper (Trainee) for the past more than five years. This apart, the writ petitioner has not neither impleaded the appointed candidates as party respondents nor challenged the appointment orders issued in their favour in the present writ petition. 4.

However, The writ petitioner is at liberty to participate in the ensuing recruitments, if any notified by the respondents. In such an event, the case of the writ petitioner is also to be considered along with all other eligible candidates for appointment.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
