O R D E R

This Contempt Petition is filed to punish the Contemnor / Respondent for his willful disobedience of the order of this Court made in W.P.(MD) No.18688 of 2023 dated 02.08.2023. 1/4

2. Heard, the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

3. This Court by an order dated 02.08.2023, directed the respondent to disburse the pension amount and terminal benefits of the petitioner's husband, namely, K.Soundarajan, to the petitioner within a period of twelve(12) weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of that order.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the contemnor has already sent a proposal regarding to disburse the pension amount and terminal benefits of the petitioner's husband, namely, K.Soundarajan, to the Accountant General Office. He further submitted that the Accountant General duly received the said proposal and the same will be considered in due course of time in accordance with law. 5.Recording the same, this contempt petition is closed. The Accountant General is directed to consider the proposal received from the contemnor herein and disburse the pension amount and terminal benefits of the petitioner's husband, namely, K.Soundarajan, to the 2/4

petitioner within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
