Respondents in both writ petitions COMMON PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from taking up/ proceeding with the construction of any drainage channel disturbing the existing irrigation channel which runs from north to south direction commencing from Kumulankulam Kanmai comprised in Survey No.507, Kumulankulam Village, Erichanattam Revenue Village,Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District and further forbearing the respondents 1 to 4 from permitting the fifth respondent to let drainage water of Kumulankulam Village near the agricultural land owned by the petitioner and further directing the respondents to restore irrigation channels of Kumulankulam Tank to its original position.
