ORDER

The criminal original petition has been filed to file the final report in Crime no.1470 of 2020 on the file of the respondent and get it numbered within a time frame fixed by this Court. 2.The case of the petitioner is that on 08.12.2019, the marriage was solemnized between the petitioner and one Roja. After the marriage, due to the ill advice given by the mother of his wife namely, Jeyanthi, the petitioner's wife unnecessarily quarreled with him. Thereafter, she left the matrimonial house. On 24.07.2020, the petitioner went to the house of the said Jeyanthi to bring back his wife, but the family members of his wife scolded the petitioner with filthy words and refused to send his wife and attacked him. Due to the same, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent police. Based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.1470 of 2020 was registered for the offences under Section 147, 294(b), 323, 427, 506(ii) of I.P.C. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5581 of 2021 registration of FIR, no action has been taken by the respondent police to conclude the investigation and file a final report. Hence, the petitioner filed the present criminal original petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the investigation is going on and a final report will be filed within the time stipulated by this Court. 4.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the respondent is directed to conclude the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.1470 of 2020 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
