ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Muniyasamy, learned standing counsel who takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.The petitioner seeks for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 27.11.2014. 3.It is seen that the petitioner was working as an employee in the respondent corporation and is not in service from August 2007 onwards. It is stated that the respondent issued charge memo on 19.09.2014 against the petitioner and the disciplinary proceedings are still pending. It is also stated that through the representation, the petitioner sought for reinstatement in service. In my considered view, the petitioner cannot seek for reinstatement in service when the disciplinary proceedings is already initiated against the petitioner and the same is pending.

Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits and contentions raised by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to complete the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
