Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to conduct survey the landed property in survey number. 76/2B1 for an extent of 0.98.50 hectors and survey number. 76/2B3A for an extent of 0.24.00 hectors situated at T.Edayappatti Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District consequently direct the respondents to sub divide the same and issue separate patta on the basis of petitioners application dated 19.02.2024 within time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
Heard both sides.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the issue has been taken cognizance by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Srirangam. The petitioner is directed to attend further hearings that may be conducted by the RDO, Srirangam. The RDO, Srirangam shall pass final order on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's application within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
