The Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner without following due process of law.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police frequently called the petitioner to the police station and harassed him under the guise of enquiry.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the petitioner was called only for enquiry in respect of a petition pending against him and that the respondent police did not cause any harassment to the petitioner. However, he gave an undertaking that if at all the presence of the petitioner is required, the respondent would call the petitioner for enquiry only after issuing summons giving specific date, time and place. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Recording the above undertaking given by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
