ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to accept and approve Form VII furnished by them in respect of the election of the Management Committee of the petitioner Society for the period 2014-2017.

The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the Form VII application was filed as early as on 19.03.2014, the second respondent has not considered the application and passed orders sofar.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, based on the instruction, submitted that an objection was raised by some third parties against the approval of Form VII submitted by the petitioner and however, the said objection was subsequently withdrawn by the objectors and therefore, the second respondent will pass orders within the time stipulated by this Court.

Heard both sides.

Considering the above stated submission respective parties and without expressing any view of the merits of the matter, I only direct the second respondent to pass orders on Form VII submitted by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
