ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to settle the retirement benefits of the petitioner, based on her representation, dated 10.10.2020. 1/3
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 to 5.
3.According to the petitioner, she was appointed as Salesman on 19.09.1991 in Y-224 Paraicode Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society and on attaining the age of superannuation, she retired from service on 29.02.2020. Seeking retirement benefits, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 10.10.2020, to the respondents. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition. 4.C.Ramar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents produced a letter, dated 26.04.2021, written by the first respondent to the third respondent, stating that the first respondent will settle the entire terminal benefits to the petitioner on or before 2nd week of May, 2021. 5.In view of the said submission, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.10.2020, to settle the eligible terminal benefits and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
