ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the Petitioner on 21.3.2021, wherein, the Petitioner is seeking for renewal of the lease. 2.The case of the Petitioner is that the respondent had sanctioned the tender in favour of the Petitioner in the year 2009 for the purpose of managing the cottage. According to the Petitioner, the licence was also renewed from time to time. The respondent thereafter called upon the Petitioner to submit his application seeking for the renewal and a final notice was issued in this regard on 16.3.2021 and the Petitioner was asked to pay the renewed lease amount within three days.

3.The Petitioner, thereafter made a representation to the respondent on 21.3.2021 seeking for the renewal of the lease and to grant him time to pay the renewed lease amount. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

4. Heard Mr.L.Sharadh Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Angappan, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 21.03.2021 on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

7. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
