O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sankarankovil to complete the trial expeditiously in C.C.No.948 of 2014 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Today, R.Rajendran, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sankarankovil Sub Division, is present before this Court.

3. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate submitted that on the efforts taken by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, summons have been served on the accused in CC No.948/2014 and that the case has been posted on 12.10.2017 for the appearance of the accused.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the trial Court to expeditiously conduct the trial in C.C.No.948/2014.
