ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.19 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent police to any other competent officer for fair and free investigation.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner lodged two complaints before the second respondent police and on that basis, two FIRs came to be registered in Crime No.18 of 2024 dated 21.02.2024 and Crime No.19 of 2024 dated 23.02.2024 and the second respondent police, after coming to know that the above two complaints were lodged for the very same set of facts, has filed the final report in Crime No.18 of 2024 and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.66 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Singamunari and closed the FIR in Crime No.19 of 2024 as 'mistake of fact' and RCS notice was also served on the petitioner / defacto complainant.

3. Recording the aforesaid submissions made, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition before the concerned Court with regard to Crime No.19 of 2024, if so advised.
