Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records connected with the detention order passed in P.D.No.36 of 2018 dated 20.07.2018 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu or body of the detenu namely Jeyantha aged about 38 years S/o Raj, now detained at Central Prison, Palayamkottai before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention, dated 20.07.2018 passed in P.D.No.36 of 2018 detaining him as "Drug Offender", as contemplated under Section 2(e) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenu has already been revoked by the Government.

3.Recording the above submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
