Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life to enable the petitioner to continue to reside in the residential house situated at Old No.10, New No.7, Omsakthi Kovil 6th Street, Subburaj Nagar, Pudhu Colony, Bodinayakkanur, Theni District based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 21.05.2018 and 22.05.2015 to respondents 1 and 2 respectively.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner represented that this matter is of the year 2018 and now nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 also admitted the same. 2.In view of the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
