Respondent This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2015 and to remove the unauthorized laying of water pipe lines in petitioner's property to an extent of 1 Acre 24 cents situated in Survey No.362/2 Virudhunager Village Virudhunagar Taluk and restore the land to its original position.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2015 and to remove the unauthorized laying of water pipe lines in the petitioner's property to an extent of 1 Acre 24 cents situated in Survey No.362/2 Virudhunager Village, Virudhunagar Taluk and to restore the land to its original position.

2. Mr.Muthugeethaiyan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondent, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.06.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the interested parties, if any, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
