ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, based on the representation dated 12.01.2017.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents 3 and 4 damaged his water tank and motor pump set and also attempted to attack him. In the said circumstances, the petitioner made a complaint before the second respondent police seeking police protection and the same was not considered by him. Hence, the present petition.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that already the complaint given https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

by the petitioner was enquired into and closed on the ground that the allegation made by the petitioner is not true. That apart, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 and 4 submitted that the petitioner has already filed a private complaint against the respondents 3 and 4 and it is pending before the concerned Judicial Magistrate Court.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
