O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the first respondent to provide adequate police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner pursuant to the complaint dated 16.12.2019 and the receipt in C.S.R.No.506 of 2019, dated 17.12.2019.

2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that the enquiry initiated in C.S.R.No.506 of 2019, dated 17.12.2019 has been closed already and that as of now, no such enquiry is pending on the file of the first respondent.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6926 of 2020 given any closure report to the petitioner in respect to the above said enquiry.

4.In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to serve the copy of the closure report of the enquiry initiated in C.S.R.No.506 of 2019, dated 17.12.2019.

5.Since no enquiry is pending on the file of the first respondent, question of giving police protection dose not arise. Hence, recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is closed.
