ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 506(i) IPC in Crime No.875 of 2020 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.While hearing the earlier Crl.O.P(MD).No.17837 of 2021, on 16.12.2021, the petitioner gave an undertaking before this Court that he will pay the balance amount of Rs.48,00,000/- on or before 07.01.2022 in instalment and on that account the matter was adjourned to 12.01.2022 and subsequently, the said Crl.O.P was withdrawn by the petitioner on 01.02.2022. Thereafter, he has filed the present petition and at the time of hearing on 28.04.2022, the petitioner counsel sought time for getting instructions from the petitioner and hence, the matter was adjourned to 09.06.2022, but, it was not listed.

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner could not comply the condition as ordered by this Court in the earlier petition and he is also not ready to deposit the amount. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.7175 of 2022 and 4.Noting down the conduct of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to dismiss the petition even without considering the matter on merits.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed.
