ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to appoint the petitioner as Lab Technician Grade-III on the basis of the Interview conducted by the respondent on 17.08.2010 for the post of Lab Technician Grade-III or in the ensuing vacancy.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 08.12.2017, there was no representation for the petitioner and the matter was directed to be posted in the list on 13.12.2017 under the caption for "dismissal". Even, today (i.e.13.12.2017) there is no representation for the petitioner.

3.In such circumstances, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the matter and therefore, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the petition for default. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for default. No costs.
