ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police, based on a complaint given by one Kumaran, that has been registered in Cr. No.2 of 2017 dated 16.01.2017 under Sections 406, 420 and 506(i) I.P.C.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) for the respondent/State. 3.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner assured the defacto complainant to get Anganwadi Worker job for his daughter and received Rs.4 lakhs. However, neither the job was got nor the money was returned to the defacto complainant, in spite of lapse of 3 years. Whenever the demand is made, the petitioner is said to have used his henchmen to threaten the defacto complainant.
4. Heard Mr.V.Sitharanjandas, learned counsel for the petitioner, who would submit that because of the political enmity, the petitioner has been unnecessarily roped in the case. However, without prejudice to his right, the petitioner is ready to deposit Rs.4,00,000/- before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Pudukkottai.

5. Considering the fact that the alleged occurrence is said to have happened about 3 years before and now only the complaint has been given and the petitioner is ready to deposit the amount, this Court is inclined enlarge the petitioner.
6.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, in the event of depositing Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees four lakhs only) in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Pudukkottai within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 7.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
