The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking police protection police protection to erect a compound wall in her property based on the representation given by the petitioner on 28.08.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. A perusal of the representation, dated 28.08.2015, would go to show that the dispute is civil in nature. In my considered opinion, in this matter, police protection cannot be granted. Therefore, the direction as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted and it is for the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
