ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) This writ petition has been filed in public interest, seeking for a direction to the respondents to take action against the buses which are not plying in the stipulated routes via, Keelaseevalpatti Village, Thiruppathur Taluk Sivagangai District, despite having permits and also direct the authorities to increase number of buses in the said route for the benefit of the villagers.

2. Heard both sides.

3. No direction as sought for in the writ petition can be given, since it is for the the authorities concerned, to take into consideration of nature of bus routes to be operated, which is need based and on the basis of location of the village concerned. However, if a representation is given in this regard, the District Collector, Sivagangai District/first respondent herein is directed to look into the matter and redress the grievance, if there is one.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
