This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner for the smooth shifting of his house from Trichy to Salem based on the petitioner's complaint dated 10.12.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State. Mr.V.John Vijaya Kumar, Sub-Inspector of Police, Gandhi Market Police Station, Trichy District is present.

3. On instructions, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the complaint given by one Ramakrishnan, a petition enquiry in CSR No.371 of 2016 was conducted and the same was closed on 03.12.2016.

4. Recording the same, this petition is closed with direction to the Police to give protection to the petitioner, if there is any threat from the said Ramakrishnan.
