This writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to issue Patta in respect of the property situated in T.S.No.78/3, Municipal Town Ward No.2, Virudhunagar Town and District within a stipulated period.
2.The petitioner has made a representation to the respondents dated 16.06.2015 seeking patta in respect of his property in question. It is specifically submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no rival claim nor any suit pending in respect of the subject matter. Therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks the indulgence of this Court for a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits.
3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Government Advocate, who took notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion as to the merits of the contentions raised by the petitioner in this writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner dated 16.06.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders, after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as the interested parties if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
