This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to grant permission and adequate police protection for conducting car festival of Arulmighu Mariyamman Temple situated in Ammankudi Village of Thottiyam Taluk, Trichy District from 5th July 2015 to 15th July 2015 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 26th June 2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is being given police protection.
