ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct proper enquiry and to investigate the same in accordance with law, on the basis of petitioner's complaint dated 21.12.2024 and 18.06.2025, within a stipulated time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he had given complaints on 21.12.2024 and 18.06.2025 with respect to job racketing done by one Abiraj and another, in which the petitioner was cheated to the tune of ?4,85,000. Due to the inaction of the respondent police, this Writ Petition is filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the matter is looked into and the investigation is ongoing. 2/4

4. Heard either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above submission, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's complaint and conclude the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and further directed to appraise the progress of the investigation to the first respondent on every Friday. The first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation being conducted by the third respondent.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
