ORDER
This petition has been filed for a direction to direct the second and fourth respondents herein to provide necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioners herein by considering the representation given by the second petitioner dated 12.06.2020.
2. According to the petitioners, they have recently married against the wishes of their parents and therefore, at the instance of their parents, the respondent police are harassing them. Therefore, the petitioners approached this Court.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that the father of the second petitioner namely Ravichandran preferred a complaint before the third respondent that his daughter is missing. Accordingly, his complaint was registered in C.S.R.No.295 of 2020. According to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, a similar complaint was also preferred by the parents of the first petitioner and the same is pending before the fourth respondent police. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submits that so far as the complaint lodged by the fifth respondent - Ravichandran in C.S.R.No.295 of 2020, it was already enquired and closed.
4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
