PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2025 and appoint the petitioner in a suitable post on the ground of compassionate appointment.

O R D E R

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr.S.C.Herold Singh, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the respondents 2 & 3, placed before this Court a copy of the proceedings bearing Letter No.95/E4/TNSTC(K) Kumb/2024, dated 26.03.2024, issued by the third respondent, whereby the representation of the petitioner dated 18.11.2025 was considered and rejected.

2. In the light of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings bearing Letter No.95/E4/TNSTC(K) Kumb/2024, dated 26.03.2024, issued by the third respondent, in accordance with law and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings bearing Letter No. 95/E4/TNSTC(K) Kumb/2024, dated 26.03.2024, issued by the third respondent, in accordance with law. No costs. 09.03.2026 NCC :
