O R D E R

The accused had undertaken to pay a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- at the time of obtaining anticipatory bail. Alleging that his undertaking has been dishonored, this contempt petition came to be filed.

2.Previously, a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- had been paid. The learned counsel for the accused is ready with the demand draft for a sum of Rs.2,00,000/-. The learned counsel for the contemnor states that the accused will pass on a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- vide demand https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ draft to the learned counsel for the petitioner by today itself.

3.Since the undertaking has now been complied with, the contempt petition can be closed. The contempt petition stands closed. I make it clear that the payment of this amount of Rs.6,00,000/- to the petitioner will not in any way prejudice the defence of the accused.
