ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner herein/sole accused who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 15.05.2017 for the alleged offence under Sections 34, 294(b), 387, 307 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.91 of 2017 on the file of the respondent/Police, seeks bail. 2.This petitioner was arrested on 15.05.2017 based on a complaint given by one Nainar S/o. Ramaiah Thevar. According to FIR, this petitioner has waylaid the defacto complainant and one Sundaram who were travelling in the Bike near Manakkarai Muppidathi Amman Temple, showed Aruval and threatened them to give money or else will kill them. When he attempted to attack the defacto complainant with Aruval, the defacto complainant has raised alarm and had fled from the place to save his life. 3.
The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that this petitioner is a habitual offender facing trial for similar crime and if he is released on bail, he will again indulge in same criminal activities. It is also submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that release of this petitioner will be a menace to the general public due to his notorious activities. Further, he has already involved in 30 previous cases. He has involved in the present crime when he was enlarged on bail in the previous case. Therefore, to avoid recurrence of crime, he should not be enlarged on bail.

4.This Court finds merits in the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
