ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Heard both sides.
2.The petitioner, who was arrested on 25.04.2018 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147 and 435 of IPC r/w Section 3 of TNPPDL Act, in Crime No.55 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
3.The case of the prosecution is that due to the previous motive the petitioner along with other accused have unlawfully assembled with deadly weapon and set fire to the two wheeler belongs to the defacto complainant.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submitted that the petitioner has two previous cases and he has caused damages worth about Rs.20,000/-.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the period of incarceration of the petitioner and also considering the fact that the co-accused in this case was released on bail by an order of this Court passed in Crl.O.P(MD). No.7908 of 2018 dated 16.05.2018, I am of the view that the petitioner could be enlarged on bail. Accordingly, it is ordered that the petitioner shall be released on bail, on executing a bond https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Muthukalathur, Ramanathapuram District and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. sd/- 07/06/2018 / TRUE COPY / Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
